In an effort to spread the universal and life-affirming teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, Shri Krishna Kripa Jiyo Geeta Parivar, Uttar Pradesh, will organise the Divya Geeta Prerana Utsav on November 23 at Janeshwar Mishra Park, Lucknow. The event is being held under the inspiration of revered Gita scholar Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj.

The programme will witness the participation of several prominent personalities, including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who will grace the occasion with their presence.

During a press conference held on November 16, the organisation laid out the key objectives, activities, and future plans of the Jiyo Geeta Abhiyan, which has been rapidly expanding its reach across India and abroad.

Present at the briefing were the organisation’s General Secretary Pradeep Mittal, Uttar Pradesh Convener, Mani Prasad Mishra (Retd. IAS), and other senior representatives.

The speakers highlighted the journey of the organisation so far, acknowledging its national and global initiatives to bring the wisdom of the Gita into everyday life. They emphasised that the upcoming Utsav would serve as a milestone in this journey.

Addressing the media, the representatives underlined that Jiyo Geeta is not merely a religious initiative but a holistic movement aimed at integrating the essence of the Bhagavad Gita into societal life. “The Gita is not just a scripture; it is the science of life,” they said. “It instills values in children, spreads positivity among youth, fosters love in families, and creates harmony in society.”

The speakers added that the Divya Geeta Prerana Utsav is an important step toward the grand celebrations of Gita Jayanti 2026, with the organisation aiming to inspire every individual to know, understand, and live the teachings of the Gita.

The event on November 23 promises to offer a deeply spiritual and enriching experience for all attendees, featuring blessings and discourses by prominent pandits, special Gita recitations, inspirational spiritual talks, and a variety of cultural and devotional performances. Additionally, interactive sessions will highlight the timeless relevance of the Bhagavad Gita in modern life, making the Utsav both meaningful and engaging for people of all ages.

The organisation expressed confidence that the Utsav will encourage people to adopt the teachings of the Gita, morality, harmony, positivity, and righteous living as guiding principles in daily life. As Lucknow prepares to host this grand spiritual gathering, anticipation is building among devotees, scholars, and the general public for an event designed to ignite reflection, unity, and inspiration through the timeless message of the Bhagavad Gita.
