US Singer Mary Millben defends PM Modi over Rahul Gandhi’s remarks, asks him to resume “I hate India” tour

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s incredible leadership style has global recognition and rating. This is not a new fact. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi’s repeated accusations and mockery about India especially while speaking from the foreign soil has also been widely criticized as a testament to the anti-national rhetoric. In this direction, US Singer Mary Millben has lately taken a sharp jibe at the opposition leader Rahul Gandhi for his comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had recently uttered that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was “frightened of Trump”. He said these comments in the backdrop of US President Donald Trump claiming that PM Modi had assured him on stopping to buy the Russian oil. Reacting to these comments by Rahul Gandhi, singer Mary Millben affirmed that PM Modi’s style of leadership, diplomatic and strategic skills is beyond the comprehension and understanding ability of Rahul Gandhi. So, the only thing Rahul Gandhi is fit for is to do his “I hate India” tour and apparently is never eligible to be the Prime Minister of India.

You are wrong, @RahulGandhi.
PM @narendramodi is not afraid of President Trump. PM Modi understands the long game and his diplomacy with the U.S. is strategic. Just as @POTUS will always put America’s interests first, so will PM Modi do what is best for India. And I applaud that.… https://t.co/4p0HNRCAv2

“You are wrong, Rahul Gandhi. PM Narendra Modi is not afraid of President Trump. PM Modi understands the long game and his diplomacy with the US is strategic. Just as @POTUS will always put America’s interest first, so will PM Modi do what is best for India. And I applaud that. That’s what Heads of Stats do”, wrote US Singer Mary Millben, as a reply to Rahul Gandhi’s post on the X social media platform and further suggested Rahul Gandhi to resume his “I hate India tour that has an audience of one-you”. She sharply criticized Rahul Gandhi for not possessing the skills to be the Prime Minister of India and for indulging in baseless accusations and blame game against India and the Prime Minister.

In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi had criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “Allows Trump to decide and announce that India will not buy Russian oil and doesn’t contradict him on Operation Sindoor”. In a sharp contradiction to the comments of Rahul Gandhi, Ministry of External Affairs has affirmed that India’s energy purchase policy are based on the twin objectives of ensuring stable energy prices and secured supplies. The energy sourcing decisions are bound to safeguard the interests of the Indian consumers in a volatile energy scenario.

MEA also strongly refuted any claims with respect to phone call between Prime Minister Modi and President Trump regarding India assuring the US on halting the energy purchases from Russia. Even with respect to the cessation of fighting in Operation Sindoor, government has multiple times asserted that the request to halt the hostilities came through the channel of DGMO of Pakistan and Indo-Pak conflict is a completely bilateral issue where no third party mediation is allowed. EAM Jaishankar also gave a clear timeline to testify the fact that no phone conversation had happened between PM Modi and President Trump with respect to ending the Indo-Pak conflict.

Yet, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi doesn’t rely on the Indian sources and vouch on the US sources or any other external sources to make baseless comments. As Singer Mary Millben stressed Rahul Gandhi is suitable to make only “I hate India” campaign but not to protect and uphold the dignity and sovereignty of the country in foreign soil.
