LUCKNOW: On the occasion of the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Awadh Prant, inaugurated a grand exhibition on October 15 at the ABVP Regional Office in Kaiserbagh, Lucknow. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Swant Ranjan, Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh of the RSS as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi, National President of ABVP and Pawan Singh Chauhan, Member of Legislative Council. The inaugural session was hosted by Pushpendra Vajpayee, State Secretary of ABVP Awadh Prant.

The exhibition, meticulously prepared by ABVP karyakartas of Awadh, showcases significant milestones from the 100-year journey of the RSS, its diverse dimensions of social upliftment, educational and cultural campaigns, and its constructive interventions in national life. A large number of karyakatartas, students, and local citizens attended the event.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Swant Ranjan said,“Over the past 100 years, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has provided society with a positive direction. The Sangh has consistently strived to serve the nation through truthful efforts and public welfare initiatives. This exhibition portrays the century-long journey of the RSS. Viewing these depictions should not only inspire us but also invite reflection. Such initiatives are extremely important. I congratulate all ABVP workers who have brought clarity to the national discourse, enabling the younger generation to understand what the Sangh has achieved. This exhibition is not merely a presentation of the RSS’s work but a vivid portrayal of public participation in nation-building.”

Speaking on the occasion, ABVP National President Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi remarked:
“Through this exhibition on the centenary journey of the RSS, ABVP has made an effort to bring inspiring glimpses of the Sangh’s legacy to students, motivating them to move forward with a resolve for social and national service. This initiative also serves as a fitting response to anti-national forces that have repeatedly tried to create false narratives about the RSS.”

The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Bhuvaneshwari Bhardwaj, President of ABVP Lucknow Mahanagar. During the event, Devanand Tyagi (Central Secretariat Secretary, ABVP), Ghanshyam Shahi (Regional Organising Secretary), Shubham Singh (National Co-Convenor, SHoDH), Prof. Neetu Singh (President, Awadh Prant), Prof. Manjula Upadhyay (Vice-President, Awadh Prant), Anshul Vidyarthi (Organizing Secretary, Awadh Prant),  Shashwat (Mahanagar Secretary, Lucknow), along with several other ABVP karyakartas were present.
