The Parishad Premier League (PPL) 3.0, organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP-JNU) in collaboration with Khelo Bharat-JNU, was inaugurated today at Sabarmati Ground, JNU. The tournament will take place from 10th to 12th October 2025, with the final match scheduled for 12th October.
The Parishad Premier League is one of the prominent annual sporting events of JNU. It aims to promote the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and healthy competition among the students of the university. This year, teams from various schools and hostels across the campus are participating in the tournament.
Khelo Bharat-JNU Convenor Ravindra said — “Parishad Premier League is not just a sports tournament; it is an effort to strengthen the spirit of nation-building among the youth through sports. Khelo Bharat-JNU continues to work with the belief that every young person who sweats on the field becomes an inspiration for society and the nation.”
This event is a joint initiative of ABVP-JNU and Khelo Bharat-JNU, aimed at encouraging students’ participation in sports and fostering harmony, unity, and a spirit of service within the university campus.
