Patna: Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal on September 21 slammed the alleged objectionable remark made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s late mother during a Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) rally addressed by Tejashwi Yadav.

Speaking to reporters, the BJP leader said that the leadership of the RJD “has become unrestrained.”

Jaiswal said, “The way in which wrong words have been used for Prime Minister Modi’s mother in the INDIA alliance and Tejashwi Yadav’s rally. You (RJD) say that one of your workers said it, but if you no longer have trust in your workers, then it means that your leadership has become unrestrained.”

Jaiswal’s remarks come after Union Minister Nityanand Rai shared a purported video on X showing an unknown man using derogatory language against PM Modi in the presence of Tejashwi Yadav at an RJD public meeting in Bihar.

The incident came weeks after a similar row erupted over abuses allegedly hurled at PM Modi and his late mother during Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar.

BJP leader and Union Minister Nityanand Rai shared a purported video on X, in which an unknown man can be heard using derogatory language for PM Modi, in the presence of Tejashwi Yadav during RJD’s public meeting in Bihar.

Addressing reporters, the Union MoS referred to Tejashwi as mythological characters ‘Kans’ and ‘Kaliya Naag’ and said that the public will give him a befitting reply in the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections.

“Tejashwi Yadav’s goons have committed a grave sin by abusing PM Narendra Modi and his revered mother in front of him. By repeatedly abusing PM Narendra Modi and his mother, these people are causing havoc. Tejashwi, we will destroy you like Kansa. The people of Bihar will soon destroy you with their votes. You are spewing venom like the Kaliya Naag,” Rai said.

Earlier in the day, Uttar Pradesh Minister Danish Azad Ansari criticised the Congress party and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), saying that they have blindfolded themselves in the pursuit of politics to such an extent that they are now resorting to personal attacks.

Speaking to ANI on the alleged objectionable remarks made again about PM Modi’s late mother at the RJD rally in Bihar, Minister Ansari said, “It is extremely tragic and regrettable that the Congress party and RJD have blindfolded themselves in the pursuit of politics to such an extent that they are now resorting to personal attacks… They have realised that the people of Bihar have completely rejected them, so they are commenting on Prime Minister Modi’s personal life from the platforms. This shows how petty politics the Congress and RJD are engaging in…”.
