Patna: Bihar deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha on July 14 spoke briefly on the law and order situation of the state, promising strict action against criminals.
Speaking with the media personnel in Patna Sinha said “We have said before that the government is taking action on every incident, and strict measures are being taken to prevent criminal activities.”
Sinha claimed that the result of strict measures taken by the government will be reflected in coming days and the state government is committed to crush the morale of criminals.
“The government is breaking the morale of criminals with full alertness. Action is being taken on every incident. It’s sad and unfortunate that some people promoted the morale of criminals earlier and the current regime is facing its consequences. The incumbent government under CM Nitish Kumar is determined not to let criminals escape. They are being taught in a manner they understand well,” said the deputy CM.
Sinha assured that whatever action needed will be taken against criminals. He also trained guns on Rashtraiya Janata Dal (RJD) claiming thar it protects those who promotes anarchy.
“Whatever action needed, be it bulldozer action, encounter or confiscating properties of criminals will be taken. The government has a resolve to end this environment,” said Sinha.

Sinha’s remark has arrived amidst back to back incidents of murder including a few high-profile killings reported from Patna and other districts of the state in the past few days, attracting critical responses from the leaders of opposition led by RJD.
Launching an attack on the state government over the law and order situation, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday asked “Is there anyone in the NDA government willing to listen to the truth and admit their mistakes.”
State assembly polls are likely to take place in Bihar in October-November this year with RJD-Congress led INDIA block locking horns with the BJP-JDU led NDA alliance.
