Did US bomb Iran nuclear sites after earthquake hinted at nuclear test? Israel says Uranium was moved before strike

Did a sudden earthquake in Iran expose a hidden nuclear test? Hours later, the US bombed key nuclear sites in a surprise strike. Israel now reveals Iran moved 400 kg of enriched uranium before the attack, raising questions about secret preparations

Israel: Iran moved uranium before US Nuclear Site strikes amidst earthquake rumors

FacebookTwitterWhatsAppTelegramEmail

In a dramatic and unannounced escalation, the United States launched a precision airstrike on Iran’s core nuclear infrastructure, marking its direct entry into the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict. The strikes targeted three key facilities, Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, using B-2 Spirit stealth bombers armed with bunker-buster bombs. President Trump confirmed the operation, stating that Iran will never forget the blow dealt to its nuclear program.

The suddenness of the strike has raised new questions, particularly in light of the recent 5.1 magnitude earthquake that struck northern Iran on June 20, just days after a smaller 2.5 magnitude tremor was recorded near Fordow. Both earthquakes occurred near sensitive military and nuclear facilities, including the Semnan Space and Missile Complex. While official seismic readings categorise these as natural events, the timing has triggered widespread speculation. The proximity of the earthquake to Iran’s military infrastructure, coupled with the ongoing military conflict, has led many to question whether a nuclear test might have occurred underground, intentionally or as a result of the bombing, prompting the United States to act swiftly.

Adding to the intrigue, Israeli military officials revealed that Iran had moved approximately 400 kilograms of enriched uranium to a secure, undisclosed location just prior to the US strikes. The uranium, enriched to 60 percent purity, is close to weapons-grade material, indicating that Iran retains the ability to move toward full weaponization. The revelation suggests Iran not only anticipated the attack but also possibly operates an undisclosed enrichment facility, beyond the known sites destroyed in the US air raid.

This theory gained traction following Trump’s own remarks post-strike, in which he indicated that many facilities still remain. The admission has sparked fears that Iran’s nuclear infrastructure is far more extensive than publicly known, and that the US strike was both a warning and a disruption of Iran’s longer-term plans.

The decision to enter the war directly, after maintaining a supportive but indirect role, represents a sharp turn in American strategy. Trump had earlier stated that a direct military decision would be taken based on evolving circumstances. However, the sudden execution of high-risk bombing runs deep inside Iranian territory, without advance notice, suggests a calculated shift, possibly driven by intelligence indicating an imminent nuclear breakthrough or test.

Iran, for its part, has denied any significant damage to its nuclear program and dismissed concerns about radioactive fallout. However, the confirmation that enriched uranium was moved ahead of the strikes weakens Tehran’s claims. It also supports the belief that Iran has taken measures to preserve its nuclear capabilities in alternate, hidden locations.

As both military and geological tremors shake the region, a critical question emerges: Was the earthquake a natural coincidence, or did it signal a deeper nuclear event? And was that event the trigger for the US to act without warning? The convergence of seismic activity, enriched uranium movement, and sudden military escalation now points to a far more complex and shadowy nuclear game unfolding beneath the surface of the current war.
