“Mitti Mein Mila Dunga”: Bharat strikes back with Operation Sindoor after Pahalgam carnage

In a fierce response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 Hindus, Bharat launched Operation Sindoor, targeting Pakistan-based terror camps and suspending the Indus Water Treaty. PM Modi vowed "unimaginable punishment" for the perpetrators as Indian forces struck deep into Pakistan, exposing its direct hand in cross-border terrorism

The Pahalgam attack not only stunned but also infuriated every Indian in the nation and the world; it was quite likely that Pakistan had dug its graveyard by planning a terror attack at Pahalgam in Kashmir.

Furthermore, everyone anticipated a more comprehensive attack than previous surgical strikes against Pakistan and the handlers of the Pahalgam attack. Following the terrorist attack, the Prime Minister not only cancelled his international trip but also took decisive as soon as he landed at the airport. In addition, the central government promptly suspended the Indus Water Treaty of 1960 following the terrorist incident at Pahalgam in Kashmir on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent people and injured several more. The incident was claimed by the international terrorist organisation known as the Resistance Front (TRF). The IWT (the Indus Water Treaty) of 1960 would remain suspended until Pakistan Ceases providing sanctuary to globally designed terrorist organisations and their heads who are also involved in cross-border terrorism against Bharat, according to the media reports of the Ministry of External Affairs. The Pahalgam attack was pre-planned. The perpetrators attacked the innocent after enquiring about their religion, which infuriated the populace.

Everyone was anticipating and applying pressure on the central government because of the unbearable violence of the Pahalgam terror incident. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the armed forces launched an offensive against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. They destroyed many terrorist camps and facilities that were operating throughout Pakistan and the areas of POJK, which are in their illegal occupation. India has often identified Pakistan-sponsored terrorism as the source of terrorism in India and the other Nations. These terrorists, their heads, and their organisations have been receiving all of their assistance and logistics from the Pakistani establishment. Many people in the nation were furious, and in his first speech, Prime Minister Modi acknowledged the public’s anxiety following the terror incident and pledged to take unimaginably harsh measures against the terror modules, their backers, and their terror camps.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister, in his speech, used the harsh phrase “mitti mein mila dunga” in his strong message to the entire world, saying that those responsible for terror attacks would face unimaginable punishment for their savage attack on innocent tourists belonging to the Hindu community who got martyrdom on April 22 at Pahalgam in Kashmir. Following the Indian army’s “Operation Sindoor” inside Pakistan, attacking terrorist installations and camps. Indian armed forces actively played an important role in delivering precision strikes against terrorism, their camps and infrastructure inside Pakistan and the areas of POJK, which have been in their illegal occupation since 1947.

On the same day of “Operation Sindoor” and the intervening night of May 6-7, Pakistani forces shamelessly bombed Poonch city and Mendhar areas with heavy artillery guns, mortars and drones. Nearly every ward of Poonch city was directly targeted by the Pakistani side’s unprovoked shelling, which resulted in over a dozen martyrdoms and over five to six dozen injuries. In addition to damaging several homes in both urban and rural locations, the Pakistani side’s unjustified heavy artillery shelling has targeted sites of worship for all religions, school buildings, madrasas, etc. Many buildings have sustained partial damage, while many have sustained complete damage due to this onslaught. It was not merely a response to “Operation Sindoor” but also an “Act of War” on their part. In reprisal for “Operation Sindoor “, the Pakistani forces have targeted mainly the Poonch Poonch city with heavy artillery guns, mortars, rockets, etc., but this time, they have specifically and directly stuck populated sections of District Poonch. The residents of Poonch City and Mendhar areas were in shock following this attack, and many of them decided to seek shelter in safe places in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The bombing from the Pakistani side was so massive, akin to an “Act of War, that only almighty knows how people handled it; otherwise, the Pakistanis would have done everything they could. Pakistani forces aimed to kill as many civilians as well as Indian army personnel, but by the grace of divine power, the Pakistani army’s objective proved unsuccessful.

In addition to Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces also targeted other regions of the nation, but their efforts were unsuccessful because the Indian forces appropriate response rocked the Pakistani army. Although Pakistani army forces made great efforts, they were unable to carry out this massive “Act of War” against Bharat and were forced to concede defeat at every corner. The main goal of “Operation Sindoor”, launched by the Indian armed forces in response to the April 22 terrorist attacks at Pahalgam, is also to destroy the terror infrastructure inside Pakistan beyond the line of control through a targeted specific location. As per the reports, nine terrorist camps were ultimately attacked by the Indian forces in “Operation Sindoor” and got confirmation at different levels. The visual evidence also shows heavy damage to the Pakistani air bases, which include Nur Khan Airbase, Rahimyar Khan Airbase, etc. As an “Act of Bravery”, the Indian Airforce played a crucial role during precision strikes on terror camps inside Pakistan. After the April 22 attack of terrorists, Bharat is currently examining important measures to stop Pakistani financial support for terrorism. Earlier, in 2018, the FATF (Financial Action Task Force) placed Pakistan on its list of jurisdictions under heightened scrutiny, also referred to as the “Grey List”.

It is pertinent to mention that In October 2022, Pakistan was removed from the FATF Grey List. This is an appropriate time for relisting Pakistan on the FATF (Financial Action Task Force) list again due to the active involvement of the Pakistani establishment in sponsoring terrorism and also providing all support and logistics for terror activities against Bharat and the whole world. In light of current circumstances, the central government ought to implement rigorous measures against terrorists, over-ground workers and sleeper cells, as well as coercive measures to combat terrorism within the nation. Every nationalist must work together to combat hybrid terrorism, Narco-terrorism and the evil plan of Pakistan. To tackle terrorism within the country in the present scenario, the Indian government needs to take strong actions and give free hands to the security forces and agencies to take strict against those who are involved in hawala transactions and work as ground workers of the terrorists and spies of Pakistan.
