Odisha: RSS launches Karyakarta Vikas Varg in Cuttack; Over 1,000 swayamsevaks attend statewide training camps

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is conducting four training Varg across Odisha, including the 20-day Karyakarta Vikas Varg-1 in Cuttack with 221 swayamsevaks. Additionally, three Sangh Shiksha Vargs—two general (in Cuttack and Sambalpur) and one special (in Bhawanipatna)—are underway with over 800 swayamsevaks from Odisha and neighbouring regions

RSS commences Karyakarta Vikas Varg for Poorva Kshetra at Shishu Vidya Mandir Vargus, Cuttack

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has commenced its Karyakarta Vikas Varg-1 (Samanya) for the Poorva Kshetra at the Shishu Vidya Mandir Vargus in Gati Raut Patna, Cuttack. This 20-day training programme, which began on May 11, is currently attended by 221 swayamsevaks from Sikkim, Andaman, West Bengal, and Odisha. The RSS Sarsanghchalak, Dr Mohan Bhagwat, was present for the Karyakarta Vikas Varg from May 13 to 16, where he provided guidance to the swayamsevaks. Gautam Maharana, Sanghchalak of the RSS Cuttack Vibhag, is serving as Sarvadhikari, while Purnachandra Swain, Sanghchalak of Sambalpur Vibhag, acts as Varga Karyavah. Kedar Meher is the Mukhya Sikshak. This information was shared by Sumant Panda, the Prant Prachar Pramukh of RSS Odisha (East).

Sumant Panda further informed that a 15-day Sangh Shiksha Varg (General) is also currently underway at the Shishu Vidya Mandir Vargus in Gati Raut Patna, Cuttack. This Varg, which commenced on May 15, is hosting 446 swayamsevaks from 18 districts and one metropolitan area of Odisha.

Ratikant Baidya, Sanghchalak of the Mayurbhanj Vibhag, is serving as Sarvadhikari for this Varg. Chaitanya Prasad Barik, Sah Vibhag Karyavah of Mayurbhanj Vibhag, is the Varga Karyavah, while Rajesh Kumar Jena, Saha Jila Karyavah from Cuttack, is the Mukhya Sikshyak of this Varg. This Varg was inaugurated on May 15, and both Vargs will conclude on June 1.

Sumant Panda also mentioned that a Sangh Shiksha Varg (Special) is being organised from May 16 at Vikas Residential School, Junagarh Road, Bhawanipatna. This Varg will also conclude on June 1, with a total of 124 swayamsevaks participating, 92 from Odisha (East) and 32 from Odisha (West). Gaurang Panigrahi, Jila Sanghchalak of Gajapati, is serving as Sarvadhikari. Ramchandra Sahu, Jila Seva Pramukh of Rayagada, is the Varga Karyavah, and Surendra Satpathy, Vibhag Sharirik Pramukh of Rourkela Vibhag, is the Mukhya Sikhyak.

In addition, the Sangh Shiksha Varg (General), a 15-day training programme organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Odisha (West), is being held in Sambalpur. Anadi Charan Mohanty, Sanghchalak of Rourkela Vibhag, is serving as Sarvadhikari. Ashok Sahu, Boudhik Pramukh of Koraput Vibhag, is the Varga Karyavah, and Sanu Kode, Saha Jila Karyavah, is serving as the Mukhya Sikshyak. A total of 270 swayamsevaks are participating in this Varg.
