The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has issued a strong statement, on May 9,  in support of Operation Sindoor, hailing the central government and armed forces for their swift and decisive action against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism following the barbaric attack on Hindu tourists in Pahalgam.

Congratulating the leadership, the RSS described the operation as a much-needed step to deliver justice and restore national morale. In a joint statement, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said:

“We congratulate the central government leadership and our armed forces for decisive action ‘Operation Sindoor’ taken against Pak-sponsored terrorists and their supporting ecosystem following the cowardly attack on unarmed tourists at Pahalgam. This action to serve justice to aggrieved families and entire country in the brutal massacre of Hindu tourists has enhanced self-respect and morale the whole country.”

Highlighting the necessity of such measures, the statement asserted: “We totally agree that military action being taken against terrorists, their infrastructure and support systems in Pakistan is necessary and inevitable for security of the country. In this hour of national crisis, the entire country stands with government and armed forces in spirit and action.”

The RSS also condemned the attacks carried out by the Pakistani army on religious places and civilian settlements along the border and expressed condolences to the bereaved families.

Calling for unity and vigilance, the organisation urged all citizens to obey government instructions, uphold civic responsibility, and remain alert to thwart any conspiracy by anti-national forces to disturb social harmony.

“All citizens are requested to display their patriotism and be ready to cooperate with the army and civic administration wherever and however required and strengthen all efforts to maintain national unity and security,” the statement concluded.
