Indian forces choose ‘Scap and Hammer’ missiles to destroy terror houses deep inside Pakistani territory

After 14 days of the cowardly terror attack in Pahalgam, India strikes hard at the terror headquarters in 9 locations in Pakistan. The strikes by Indian armed forces inside the deep territory of Pakistan have broken the backbone of Islamist terrorist organisations sponsored by the Pakistan army, ISI and its so-called government.

“operation Sindoor”, a new defining chapter of the growing power of the Indian armed forces, was carried out by cautiously chosen super missiles. The targets were terror camps deep inside Pakistan territory and were destroyed in seconds with accurate targeting using stealth and guided missiles.

For Operation Sindoor, Indian armed forces chose ‘Scalp Cruise Missile’ and ‘HAMMER’ precision-guided missiles equipped in the Rafale fighter jets. It is also for the first time that the Indian air force used Rafale jets to destroy enemy camps outside Indian territory, Indian army sources told Organiser.

Operation Sindoor

Launched at around 1.05 midnight on 6th May, Operation Sindoor in minutes destroyed nine terror camps, 21 targets and a launch pad in deep Pakistan territory in Bahawalpur, Muridke, Muzaffarabad, etc which are house to notorious terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohhamed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Hizbul Mujahideen etc and not far from the army Pakistani army headquarters.

The operation was based on solid intel on terror groups and was precision targeted attacks which destroyed terror camps in Punjab province and PoJK in Pakistan territory. The strikes show the superiority of  Indian armed forces, which can carry pinpoint targeted attacks on terror camps without any civilian casualties.

The joint operation carried out by the Indian army, air force and navy on the terror infrastructures in Pakistan was hit by indigenously made Scap and Hammer missiles. Unlike the Balakot airstrike, this time, the Indian armed forces chose to use Rafale fighter jets to hit the targets.

The Destroyers

The ‘Scalp Cruise Missile’ and ‘HAMMER’ precision-guided missiles, which took revenge for the Pahalgam terror attack, are cutting-edge missile technology which makes the Indian security forces superior in targeted attacks.

The scalp, “Storm Shadow”, is an air-to-land cruise missile designed for medium to long-range deep strikes. The all-weather and day-night operation capable missile has a range of around 300 kilometres, with a perfect target-hitting capability. The advanced navigation system of the missile makes its accuracy incomparable.

As per security analysts, the Scalp missile matches the target image fed in the missile software for accurate and maximum damage on the target. They rather cannot detect the missile upon firing from the fighter jets as it flies very low before hitting the target.

The Hammer is an air-to-ground guided missile capable of accurately hitting targets. The Hammer is a “Glide Bomb”, which is known as “Highly Agile Modular Munition Extended Range” and is capable of hitting targets in all weather in a range of around 70 kilometres.

Developed by French company  Safran, launching from very low altitudes in rough terrain is useful. The hitting capability of the HAMMER missile is so perfect that it is even impossible to intercept by the enemy radar.
