Kerala: Fake list of Pahalgam victims circulated to twist terror narrative

A comparison between the fake list and the real list proves that Kerala politics is dominated by pseudo-secularists. Minority appeasement and ‘vote bank’ politics are their cups of tea. All political parties, except the NDA led by the BJP, are busy with vote bank politics

While the list and pictures of the martyrs of the Pahalgam terror act are very much available in black and white, a fake list has been doing the rounds highlighting that fourteen of them are Muslims. According to the original list, only one Muslim is mentioned: Sayed Adil Hussain Shah. He is said to have been a horseman. He might have been killed while trying to defend the victims. There are reports that Sushil Nethaniel is a Christian. All others are Hindus.

Now, no doubt, the fake list is prepared and circulated by vested interests, obviously pseudo-secularists, to establish that the brutal killing was not a religiously fanatic, communal, or terrorist one. In other words, it is a design, a plot to save the terrorists, terrorism, and the forces behind the terror act. They try to hide and reject the first-hand accounts of the family members of the deceased, which reveal that the terrorists asked for their names and then instructed them to render the ‘Kalima’ to establish that they were not Muslims. There are even reports of victims being undressed to confirm their religion. The aforementioned makes it clear that it was an attack against the Hindus of the country. The terrorists were making it clear that they believe in a ‘religion first’ theory.

A list is being shared on social media claiming to contain names of the victims of #PahalgamTerrorAttack#PIBFactCheck

A comparison between the fake list and the real list proves that Kerala politics is dominated by pseudo-secularists. Minority appeasement and ‘vote bank’ politics are their cups of tea. All political parties, except the NDA led by the BJP, are busy with vote bank politics. The ruling CPM-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) regime, with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at the helm, and the Opposition Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) are in tight competition in vote bank politics.
