Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on March 8 paid a heartfelt tribute the former Union Minister Dilip Singh Judeo on his birth anniversary.

The CM along with local MLA Raimuni Bhagat offered their floral respect to Judeo at his Jashpur’s residence. Describing Judeo, a towering nationalist leader and a steadfast guardian of Chhattisgarh’s cultural and tribal identity, CM Sai asserted that the former Union Minister dedicated his entire life to upholding the values of Santan Dharma.

While recalling Judeo’s contribution to social service and tribal welfare, the CM said under the leadership of Judeo, the Ghar Wapsi movement became a defining moment in social reform, reconnecting thousands of people with their ancestral tradition and heritage.

CM Sai further emphasized that Judeo was a fearless advocate for tribal rights, tirelessly working to safeguard their lands, forests, and identity.

He added that Judeo’s determined efforts not only strengthened nationalist consciousness in society but also rekindled pride and self-respect among tribal communities, enabling them to reclaim their cultural and historical roots.

“Dilip Singh Judeo was not just a political leader but a symbol of unwavering conviction and ideological clarity. His bold leadership, resolute spirit, and deep commitment to national service continue to inspire generations,” said the CM

He added that Judeo’s life stands as a beacon of courage, dedication, and selfless service, reminding us of our duty to preserve and uphold the rich heritage of our nation.

Later on, CM Sai visited the Bazratand of Kunkuri and offered his tribute to the statue of Judeo. He also participated in a mega health checkup camp being organised on the birth anniversary of Judeo.

A scion of Jashpur royal family, Dilip Singh Judeo launched the Ghar Wapsi campaign, aimed at re-instating converted members of tribal community into Sanatan fold in 90s.

The campaign turned out to be a major success in the tribal dominated pockets of Surguja division, given a significant number of tribals who were earlier led into conversion reverted to Sanatan Dharma.
