In a thought-provoking address at the Unicorn Conclave in Agra, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the symbiotic relationship between faith and technology. He highlighted how their integration can lead to transformative outcomes. The CM compared this fusion to the way ancient knowledge and modern innovation complement each other. He further noted that discussions and idea-sharing among entrepreneurs could lay the groundwork for a new-age version of the Ramayana, one centered on creativity and progress – just as the original epic was shaped through the intellectual exchange between sage Valmiki and Narada.

Adityanath illustrated his point by citing the ‘Khoya-Paya’ initiative at the Maha Kumbh, where technology played a pivotal role in reuniting 28,000 missing individuals with their families through a digital tracking system. This, he said, was a testament to how faith, perseverance, and technology can collaborate to create significant social impact. He also pointed out that similar digital solutions have been deployed in governance, healthcare, and disaster management, demonstrating the potential of technology to enhance human well-being when guided by ethical and humanitarian values.

Elaborating on the importance of idea exchange, the CM likened the entrepreneurial discussions at the conclave to the dialogue between Valmiki and Narada, which ultimately led to the creation of the Ramayan. He expressed confidence that such brainstorming sessions among innovators and business leaders could drive Uttar Pradesh’s journey towards becoming a $1-trillion economy. The government, he noted, is actively fostering an ecosystem of startups and unicorns by providing infrastructure, funding, and policy support.

The Chief Minister further added that Uttar Pradesh is not just a land of agriculture but also a center of Sanatan knowledge and traditions. By blending heritage with technological advancements, the state is well-positioned to become a hub of progress and entrepreneurship. He highlighted recent initiatives such as the expansion of digital infrastructure, skill development programs, and collaborations with global tech firms, which are paving the way for a tech-driven economy.

Yogi Adityanath emphasised that faith and technology, rather than being conflicting forces, can work together to drive progress, innovation, and inclusivity. He urged entrepreneurs, technologists, and policymakers to harness India’s cultural heritage alongside modern advancements to create a thriving and sustainable future.
