Two nurses at a Sydney hospital have been suspended following the emergence of a TikTok video in which they made antisemitic comments, including threats to harm Jewish patients and a refusal to treat them.
The incident has led to widespread outrage and is currently under investigation by police, authorities confirmed.

The viral video reportedly shows two New South Wales healthcare workers expressing hostility towards Israeli patients. In the footage, an Israeli national is seen conversing with a man and a woman in medical scrubs. One of the nurses is heard claiming to have already killed many Israeli patients.

The man is heard saying, “I’m so upset that you’re Israeli… eventually, you’re going to get killed and go to (hell)”.

When asked why, the nurse responds with an expletive, saying, “This is Palestine’s country, not yours.” She then openly declares that she would refuse to treat Jewish patients but instead kill them. The man, making a threatening gesture, adds that he has already sent many Israeli patients who came to the hospital to “Jahannam,” the Arabic term for hell in Islam.

The footage, initially shared by TikTok user Max Veifer, an Israeli national, has sparked widespread condemnation and calls for stronger action against the healthcare workers involved.

NSW Health has confirmed that both individuals have been suspended while the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have assured the public that discrimination or hate speech in healthcare settings will not be tolerated.

The antisemitic video circulating today is disgusting. The comments are vile.

The footage is sickening and shameful.
