Bharat’s strength lies in its glorious and victorious unity, said RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat. He emphasised that the Hindu way of life, which offers ultimate peace to the world, is the solution to many problems. Sarsanghchalak was speaking at the RSS Dhakshina Kerala Pranta Vidhyarthi Sanghik held at Vadayampadi Paramabhattara Kendra Vidyalaya.

The RSS aims to unite the entire Hindu society and provide fruitful and beneficial solutions to the world through the protection of Dharma. “Avatars (divine incarnations) alone cannot bring about change. It is often said that even God does not save those who do not help themselves. We are the children of Bharat. If a mother becomes helpless despite having millions of children, what is our duty? To fulfil this duty, we need strength. For strength to be effective, we need discipline and knowledge. We require firm determination and unwavering focus on our goals under any circumstances. The Sangh’s efforts focus on building such individuals, he said.

All philosophies in the world have promised comfort. Materialism, physicalism, and traditions have all worked toward the pursuit of comfort. Knowledge has increased convenience, but happiness has not been achieved. Even in Bharat, struggles persist – farmers, consumers, workers, ruling parties, and opposition parties all engage in protests. Wars and environmental destruction continue, with countless problems arising. The solutions to all these issues lie within Bharat.

The West’s failure, as stated by a neurologist who had travelled there, was in seeking fruit while forgetting the roots. In contrast, we have nurtured our roots but have not sought the fruits. We need both. The Bharat’s philosophy embraces everyone. It harmonises samaj, vyakti, and srushti into a journey toward the Parameshti. It is a path to atma moksha achieved through the alignment of the mind, budhi, and body, he explained.

Bharat is becoming a powerful nation that is essential for the world. Our unique cultural unity, which embraces diversity, is our strength. This is the land where water from the Ganges in Kashi is offered at Rameshwaram. This is the land of Shankara, who was born in Kalady and established dhams in all four corners of the nation to propagate this unity.

Dr R Vanniyarajan, RSS Dhakshin Kshetra Sanghchalak and Prof. M S Rameshan, Dhakshin Kerala Pranta Sanghchalak, were present. The Sarsanghchalak’s speech was translated by Pranta Sah Karyavaah K.B. Sreekumar. Pranta Karyavah T V Prasad Babu delivered the welcome address.
