The tragic suicide of Atul Subhash, allegedly driven by harassment from his wife, has sparked intense debates and protests across the country. A video recorded by Atul before his death detailed his ordeal, creating widespread outrage and raising questions about accountability in such cases.

The Bengaluru Police, coordinating with Uttar Pradesh authorities, arrested Nisha Singhania and Anurag, who fled their residence in Jaunpurafter the case was registered. Surveillance footage captured their movements at a local hotel, aiding the police in tracking them down.

The Bengaluru Police have intensified their investigation and plan to bring the accused to Bengaluru after securing court permission.

Atul’s wife, Nikhita Singhania, is among four individuals under scrutiny regarding the case. The Marathahalli Police are preparing to issue a notice for her cooperation in the investigation. Failure to comply could lead to further legal action.

The case has spurred protests nationwide. The Save India Family Foundation organized a candlelight vigil at Ecospace on Sarjapur Road, demanding justice for Atul. Meanwhile, protests erupted near the Central Secretariat in Delhi, where victims of similar circumstances joined to voice their grievances.

This high-profile case has highlighted the need to address domestic disputes and ensure accountability as public demands for justice grow louder. The tragic event has sparked a national debate about domestic violence, and the video made by Atul before his death has raised many questions about the treatment of men in abusive relationships.

According to reports, Atul was being physically and emotionally abused by his wife, Nikhita, for several months. Despite his efforts to seek help, the harassment continued, ultimately leading to Atul’s decision to take his own life.

The video made by Atul before his death has been widely circulated on social media and has sparked a national conversation about domestic violence. In the video, Atul accuses his wife of being abusive and manipulative, and he asks for help from the authorities.

The police have now taken both Nisha and Anurag into custody. They will be brought to Bengaluru tomorrow with the permission of the court. The investigation into Atul’s death case is ongoing, and four people, including Nikhita, are facing arrest. The Marathahalli police are preparing to issue a notice to Nikhita first and then conduct an investigation. If she does not cooperate with the investigation, legal action will likely be taken against her.

The case has raised many questions about the treatment of men in abusive relationships and the lack of support available to them. It has also highlighted the need for greater awareness about domestic violence and the importance of seeking help when needed.

Experts in the field of domestic violence say that Atul’s case is not an isolated incident. “Domestic violence is a widespread problem that affects both men and women,” said Dr. Smitha V., a psychologist who specializes in domestic violence. “What’s disturbing is that men are often reluctant to seek help because they feel embarrassed or ashamed.” Dr.  Smith. added that societal norms also play a significant role in perpetuating domestic violence. “We need to change our attitudes towards domestic violence and recognize that it’s not just a women’s issue,” she said.

As the country grapples with this tragic event, many are calling for action to address domestic violence. “We need to take immediate action to prevent such tragedies from happening again,” said Ramesh K., a social activist who has worked with victims of domestic violence. “We need stronger laws, better support systems, and greater awareness about domestic violence.”

Ramesh K. added that it’s essential to recognize that domestic violence is not just a women’s issue but also affects men. “We need to create a society where all individuals feel safe and supported,” he said.

As the investigation into Atul’s death case continues, many are holding out hope that justice will be served. But more importantly, they call for action to address the underlying issues that led to this tragedy.  Atul’s case is a sobering reminder of the devastating consequences of domestic violence. It highlights the need for greater awareness about this issue and the importance of seeking help. As we move forward, we must work together to create a society where all individuals feel safe and supported.

Atul’s family has been left reeling from his sudden death. His uncle, Shravan Kumar Agarwal, spoke out about the marriage between Atul and Nikhita. “The marriage was fixed through matrimony,” he said. “Since the girl’s family was from Jaunpur, the marriage occurred in Banaras.”

Shravan Agarwal added that Nikhita had only been to her husband’s house on Pusa Road in Samastipur for one day after the wedding. On April 27, 2019, after staying for a day on Pusa Road, Atul and Nikhita left for Bengaluru the next day.

Atul’s relatives also spoke about his struggles with Nikhita after their marriage. “After going there, their married life was never happy,” said Shravan Agarwal. “After a few months, Nikhita filed a complaint against Atul.” Atul’s family has been left heartbroken by his death and is demanding justice for their loved one.

He committed suicide by hanging himself. Before that, he expressed his pain in the video. He said that he had revealed many things about his wife. Atul has levelled serious allegations against his wife and denied the allegations of unnatural sex. He said that his wife was not maintaining cleanliness and body cleanliness. Due to this, he was not able to have physical relations. He has also accused his wife, mother-in-law, father-in-law and other relatives of harassment.

In the video, which is about one and a half hours long, Atul Subhash expresses his pain. He said that his wife was not bathing for four to five days. Due to this, he was having difficulty in having physical relations. He also mentioned some of his wife’s expectations. It made him uncomfortable. As Subhash said, ‘They talk about Section 377, it is unnatural sex. I don’t know what kind of unnatural sex I had. ‘My wife has no medical evidence, no medical tests, nothing’, he said.

Let alone unnatural, we haven’t had sex for 6 months. As Atul said,  he did not like sex with her because she did not maintain cleanliness. Thus, as his wife Nikita complained, ‘Let alone unnatural sex, we haven’t had normal sex for 6 months. That is because his wife did not bathe for four to five days.

Thus, whenever his wife tried to have physical intimacy, he had to make excuses. Every day when she tried to have sex, he used to make excuses like I have a headache, I am tired…,’ Atul said in the video.

Atul has accused many people in his death note. Among them, Jaunpur Family Court Judge Rita Kaushik has also been accused. His wife, Nikita Singhania, mother-in-law, Nisha Singhania,   and wife’s uncle, Sushil Singhania, have also been accused. This case is very sensitive and the police are investigating the case. Many new things have come to light in this case from Atul’s video and death note. The police are examining all the matters.

Atul Subhash’s story is one of tragedy and heartbreak. His decision to take his own life has raised many questions about domestic violence and its impact on individuals. As we move forward, we must work together to create a society where all individuals feel safe and supported.

Atul’s case is a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of domestic violence. It highlights the need for greater awareness about this issue and the importance of seeking help. As we remember Atul Subhash, we must also remember that he was not alone in his struggles with domestic violence. His story is just one example of many that highlight the need for greater awareness and support for victims of domestic violence.
