Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhubaneswar on November 29 to attend the DG conference, which is being hosted in the city for the first time. During his visit, he will participate in a roadshow and may also address a public gathering. Additionally, he will hold discussions with the party’s MPs, MLAs, and senior party office bearers.

PM Modi is expected to arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) around 4:15 PM, as informed by Odisha BJP chief Manmohan Samal. Upon landing, he will engage with the public at a meeting convened near the airport.

Following the meeting, PM Modi will undertake a roadshow from the airport to Raj Bhavan. He will then visit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office for a session with senior party functionaries.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to dedicate approximately two hours to addressing and mentoring BJP workers, as noted by Samal. The meeting will be attended by various party members, including Members of Parliament (MPs), ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), and other senior officials. Subsequently, PM Modi will participate in a national-level conference.

It is important to note that PM Modi will also take part in a three-day conference of Directors General of Police (DGPs) from various states, starting on November 29, as stated by Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan.

PM Modi’s visit to Odisha will last from November 29 until December 1, with the conference taking place at Lok Seva Bhawan during this period.

In addition to Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the three-day event will be attended by National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, senior officers from the Intelligence Bureau, all state Directors General of Police (DGPs), the Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), as well as the heads of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), National Security Guard (NSG), and Special Protection Group (SPG), according to sources.

The agenda will primarily focus on national security issues and the challenges faced by police forces across the country. This event aims to address key topics related to India’s security landscape and the operational difficulties encountered by law enforcement professionals.
