NEW DELHI: Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak Pradyumna Kumar passed away on November 19 in Delhi. He was 75 years old. Several leaders from across the state and country, including Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, expressed their condolences on his demise. It is noteworthy that he also served as the BJP’s national organiser.

A native of Sadulshahar, Rajasthan Pradyumna Kumar’s funeral was held on November 20, (Wednesday) at 12:00 PM in Sadulshahar. Many leaders from the state and the nation attended his last rites.

Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, senior BJP leader Rajendra Rathore, Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, MLA Gurveer Singh Brar, Jaideep Bihani, former MP Nihalchand, and others also expressed their condolences.

BJP MLA from Sadulshahar Gurveer Singh Brar said that Pradyumna Ji’s demise is a significant loss to the Bharatiya Janata Party and particularly to the Sri Ganganagar district.

He highlighted that Pradyumna Kumar shared a close relationship with his grandfather and former minister, the late Gurjant Singh Barar. He acknowledged Pradyumna Kumar’s hard work for the BJP in the Sri Ganganagar district during the time when the party was quite weak in the region.

“Due to his dedication, the BJP emerged as a strong force in Sri Ganganagar”, Gurveer Brar said. He also noted that Pradyumna Kumar always acted as a source of support for the people of the area in Delhi.
