According to the District officials, a 45-seater passenger bus plunged into a 200-meter-deep chasm near Marchula this morning while making the roughly 250-kilometer overnight trip from Pauri in Garhwal to Ramnagar in Kumaon. About 35 kilometers from the destination, Rampur, it was faced with an accident leaving atleast 36 souls as perished.
