Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Dr Mohan Bhagwat, is set to arrive in Mathura on Saturday for a 10-day visit to the temple town. The visit, which comes at a crucial time for the organisation, will focus on special deliberations regarding the RSS’s centenary goals, to be achieved by Vijayadashami 2025, marking the centenary year.

As the RSS approaches its 100th year, discussions during this visit will revolve around strategic organisational objectives aimed at strengthening the Sangh’s influence and mission. The Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of the RSS, Sunil Ambekar, in an earlier statement on the official RSS website, highlighted the importance of this visit. “The meeting in Parkham village, near the temple town, will focus on the ‘organisational goals’ set for next year when the RSS completes 100 years since its foundation,” he said.

The 10-day schedule features several key events, including the two-day Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal meeting, which will take place on October 25 and 26 at Parkham village in Mathura. A major highlight of the visit will be Bhagwat’s review of ongoing developments at the Deendayal Gau Vigyan Anushandhan Evam Prashikshan Kendra in Mathura.

Kirti, the Sah Prant Prachar Pramukh for Braj Prant and the media in-charge for the Mathura meet, shared further details about the visit. “Bhagwat ji will remain in Mathura until October 28. The schedule spans eight to nine days, with various sessions commencing from Sunday. Office-bearers and teams from 46 Prants across the country are expected to arrive by October 22,” Kirti said.

He further elaborated, “On October 23 and 24, there will be training sessions, followed by the two-day Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal meet on October 25 and 26. This annual meet, typically held before Diwali, will discuss key issues raised by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat during his recent Vijaya Dashmi (Dussehra) address.”

This annual gathering brings together Prant and Sah Sanghchalaks, Karyawahs, and Pracharaks from across the country. Top leaders, including Sar Karyawah Dattatrya Hosballe, as well as all Sah Sarkaryawahs and heads of various national-level segments, will attend.

The primary focus of the two-day meet will be to outline strategies and their implementation in response to the challenges and national issues raised by Bhagwat during his Dussehra address. Moreover, the gathering will evaluate the progress made in executing the plans set out during the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha meet held in March 2024.

Ahead of the visit by Dr Bhagwat, preparations are in full swing. Agra Division Commissioner Ritu Maheshwari recently visited Parkham to review the arrangements. She provided essential guidelines to ensure smooth proceedings during the upcoming events, underscoring the importance of this high-profile gathering.
