In Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh, several Muslim youths chanted “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans on Independence Day. These youths were reported to have raised pro-Pakistan and religious slogans during the Independence Day celebrations at the Lateri tehsil headquarters.
As the video of the incident spread widely on social media, local BJP leaders submitted a memorandum to the municipal inspector. The police have since detained a student in connection with the case.
