Raichur:  In a shocking incident, a head teacher was forced to apologize after being accused of sexually harassing a fellow teacher. The incident occurred in Raichur, Karnataka, where Mehboob Ali, a teacher at Adarsh Government primary School, allegedly sent inappropriate and indecent messages to a guest teacher, including an invitation to his bed. The situation escalated when the guest teacher’s relatives took matters into their own hands, confronting Ali at the school and teaching him a harsh lesson.

The incident has gained widespread attention after a video capturing the confrontation went viral. In the video, Mehboob Ali is seen being beaten by the guest teacher’s relatives until his clothes were torn. The intensity of the beating was such that Ali was left with no choice but to fall at the feet of the guest teacher and beg for forgiveness. The relatives did not stop at physical punishment; they also forced Ali to write a confession letter, acknowledging his wrongdoing and apologizing for his actions.

The guest teacher, who had been the target of Ali’s harassment, chose not to escalate the matter to the police after receiving the public apology. However, the video of the incident has sparked outrage, with many condemning the behavior of Mehboob Ali and expressing support for the guest teacher.

The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety and treatment of female teachers in schools. It has also highlighted the need for strict measures to prevent sexual harassment in educational institutions and ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.

The behaviour of Mehboob Ali has been met with widespread condemnation. The public humiliation he faced is seen as a direct consequence of his inappropriate actions. The video, which has been shared widely on social media, shows the teacher being forced to kneel and apologize, a clear indication of the anger and frustration felt by the guest teacher’s relatives and the community.

The incident has triggered a broader discussion about the treatment of women in the workplace, particularly in educational settings. Many have called for stricter laws and regulations to protect women from harassment and ensure that perpetrators are held accountable for their actions. The fact that the guest teacher chose not to involve the police has also sparked debate, with some arguing that legal action should have been taken to prevent future incidents.

Ashraf booked for assaulting minor girl

In another  incident in Vitla,in Dakshina Kannada district  a minor girl was sexually assaulted by a shopkeeper named Ashraf, who had a history of such offenses. The police have obtained CCTV footage of the incident and are conducting an investigation. The Hindu Jagran  Vedike has demanded immediate action against Ashraf and has called for a thorough investigation into his past offenses.

Speaking to reporters HJV district convener Narasimha Mani told that  the accused  had previously did heinous crime against three Hindu minor girls which went unnoticed. But CC TV footage seized by police confirmed miscreants real nature. He urged police to book the accused for previous cases also.

Vitla police registered a case , arrested the accused and sent to judicial custody.
