The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, marking its third year, began on August 9 and will continue until August 15 to celebrate India’s 78th Independence Day. Launched as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in 2022, this initiative aims to foster national pride and unity through widespread participation.
A notable highlight of this year’s campaign is the ‘Tiranga Bike Rally,’ scheduled for August 13 in Delhi. The rally will feature members of Parliament and start from Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan, concluding at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium. The route will pass through iconic landmarks such as India Gate, creating a vibrant display of patriotism.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has actively encouraged participation in the campaign. On August 9, he posted on X, urging citizens to make ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ a memorable event. Modi also suggested updating profile pictures with the Tricolour and sharing selfies on the campaign’s official website, harghartiranga.com, to show support.
Steps to Download Your Har Ghar Tiranga Certificate:
1. Visit the Website- Navigate to [harghartiranga.com] (https://harghartiranga.com) and select the ‘Upload Selfie’ option.
2. Participate- Click on “Click to Participate” to start the process.
3. Enter Your Details- Provide your name, phone number, country, and state. Then upload your selfie.
4. Agree to Terms- Read and accept the pledge, “I authorize the use of my picture on the portal,” then click ‘Submit.’
5.Generate Certificate- Click on “Generate Certificate” to create your certificate.
6. Download or Share- Use the download button to save your certificate or share it online using the provided options.
In previous years, the campaign has achieved remarkable engagement. In 2022, the Tricolour was displayed at over 23 crore homes, with six crore selfies uploaded on the Har Ghar Tiranga portal. The 2023 campaign saw over 10 crore selfies, reflecting the initiative’s growing reach. This year’s campaign continues to emphasize the importance of national pride and the significance of the Indian National Flag, inviting every citizen to join in the celebration.
