Agartala: The valedictory ceremony of the 20-day “Karyakarta Vikas Varg” organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded on June 7 at Seva Dham, Khayerpur, East Champamura in Agartala, Tripura. This extensive training camp, which began on May 18, 2024, witnessed the participation of 152 trainees, 30 trainers, and 41 various functionaries from the Assam Kshetra, including Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Assam.

Inauguration and Participation
The camp was inaugurated by  Umesh Chakraborty, Kshetra Sanghchalak, at Agartala Seva Dham. This event is part of 14 such Karyakarta Vikas Vargs being held across the country to foster leadership and service among RSS volunteers. Participants from Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tripura attended as trainees, showcasing the unity and diversity within the organisation.

Valedictory Ceremony Highlights
The concluding program featured prominent businessman Ratan Debnath from Tripura as the chief guest. The Varg Sarbadhikari, Pradeep Saikia, who also serves as the Sah Prant Sanghchalak of Uttar Assam Prant, and Assam Kshetra Pracharak Vasishtha Bujarbarua were also present.  Bujarbarua, the chief speaker, delivered an inspiring speech about the essence of Bharat and its role as a “Vishwa Guru” (world teacher).

Ratan Debnath emphasised the importance of dedicating time and resources to societal service. He urged every individual to contribute towards the betterment of the community, aligning with the core values of RSS.

In his address,  Vasishtha Bujarbarua elaborated on the significance of the term “Bharat,” explaining that ‘Bha’ signifies knowledge and ‘Rat’ implies indulgence. Thus, Bharat represents a nation dedicated to the pursuit of higher knowledge. He highlighted Bharat’s historical role in imparting wisdom to the world without seeking superpower status. He stressed the philosophical differences between the West, which views the world as a market, and Bharat, which considers it a family, encapsulated in the ancient saying “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family). Bujarbarua concluded by underscoring the role of RSS in preserving Bharat’s rich legacy and promoting global peace and welfare.

It should be mentioned that RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat Ji also graced the Karyakarta Vikas Varg organised in Agartala for 5 days and interacted with the traineed.

Demonstrations and Attendance
The valedictory function was well-attended, with Sangh functionaries, Swayamsevaks, and numerous dignitaries from various districts of Tripura. The audience witnessed various physical demonstrations, including drills, Yogasan, and Niyudh, showcasing the physical and spiritual discipline promoted by RSS.

The RSS Karyakarta Vikas Varg at Seva Dham, Agartala, successfully concluded with a reaffirmation of the organisation’s commitment to service, knowledge, and the holistic development of individuals and society. This event underscored the unity and strength of RSS volunteers in their mission to uphold and spread the values of Bharat.
