Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah slams the Congress party for derogating the standard of Indian politics by circulating fake videos out of frustration. Referring to the fake video on reservations circulated by top Congress leaders, including Karnataka CM, Home Minister Shah said that after Rahul Gandhi took the leadership of the Congress party, the standard of politics has gone down continuously.

The Congress party is indulging in spreading misinformation to create panic amongst the people under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. He further said that BJP is always in favor of ST, SC, and OBC reservation and will always work for their reservation. BJP”s stand is always against reservation based on religion. It is the Congress party that divided the reservation for OBC by including Muslims in the OBC category in states like undivided Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.  Whenever BJP comes to power in these states, the OBC reservation for Muslims will be cancelled, home minister Shah said.

Addressing the press in Guwahati, senior BJP leader Shah BJP has always used the majority given by the people of the country to end misused provisions like Article 370, Triple Talaq, etc. But it is the Congress party that hurts the Constitution of India by implementing an emergency in the country. BJP is committed to implementing UCC across the country and we have said this in our manifesto. It is Congress that talks about implementing personal laws to divide the country in the name of religion in their manifesto and we condemn that, Shah added.

Under Rahul Gandhi, Congress has descended to a new low . They are circulating deepfakes of our leaders to try and get public support: Adarniya @AmitShah Ji

He further said that the BJP and NDA alliance will win at least 12 seats in Assam and over 100 seats in the first 2 phases across the country. He also mentioned that the BJP is also performing well in the south and getting massive support in states like West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. He further said that 400 seats are very much gettable for the party, and the massive support across the country for the BJP is proof of it. Shah further said that Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi don’t dare to contest from their traditional seats in Uttar Pradesh after seeing the massive wave in favour of the BJP. “ I don’t know whether they will contest from UP or not. But their confusion is proof of their lack of confidence. Seeing the environment in UP, they have run away from their traditional seats.”, Shah said.  Earlier, Shah took out a massive roadshow in Guwahati on the  evening of April 29. State BJP said that over 1 lakh supporters of the party participated in the massive rally.
