The Bakcha area in Purba Medinipur district has been rattled by yet another tragic incident, as the lifeless body of 18-year-old Dinabandhu Midya, son of a BJP worker, was discovered under disturbing circumstances.

Midya’s body was found hanging, with visible signs of multiple injuries, raising suspicions about the nature of his death. His mother has come forward with grave allegations, accusing members of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of being involved in her son’s untimely demise. She has vehemently demanded a thorough investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to uncover the truth behind the tragedy.

Dinabandhu Midya’s father, Sudarshan Midya, is an active BJP worker in the Goramahal village. His son’s tragic death has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving residents stunned and grieving. The family’s anguish is compounded by the fact that Dinabandhu was their only son, making his loss even more devastating.

The circumstances surrounding Dinabandhu’s death have sparked outrage and condemnation, with many pointing fingers at the TMC and decrying their alleged involvement in the incident. The terming of the TMC as a “Talibani Party” by some, accusing them of resorting to cruel and violent means, has further escalated tensions in the area.

Since April, Dinabandhu had been missing, heightening concerns about his safety. His body was discovered on April 25 night, hanging in a manner that suggested foul play. The presence of injuries on his body has raised suspicions of foul play, indicating that his death may not have been a suicide, as initially speculated.
