The trailer has also revealed glimpses of the brutalities unleashed by the extremists against innocent civilians residing in the regions infested by insurgency.
The film, which identified the lead actress Adah Sharma as an IPS officer stationed in the Maoist affected Bastar region, has led to the reunion of the actress with producer Vipul Amrutal Shah and director Sudipto Sen all part of the crew of ‘The Kerala Story’ movie, which performed exceptionally well despite backlash by certain groups.

Further, the number of deaths, including those of security personnel and civilians, has also reduced by 90 per cent from an all time high of 1005 in 2010 to 98 in 2022.
