Ram Lalla has returned to the grand Ram Mandir in the most beautiful manner possible. January 22, marked his return from exile and this time from a 500-year exile. The Prime Minister of Bharat, Narendra Modi, while addressing the invitees and the country from Ram Mandir following the pran pratishtha said, “Bhagwan Ram will not have to live in the tent anymore.”

Well, while all factions of the society are ‘Rammay’ and enjoying the Historical return of Ram Lalla to Ayodhya, some infringe elements have been targeting the Hindus and their peaceful processions.

In a shocking turn of events during the nationwide celebrations of the Ram Mandir Pran Prathishtha in Ayodhya, a clash ensued between members of the Hindu community and an Islamist mob at Mira Road in Mumbai on the evening of January 21.

As the Hindu community engaged in a spirited procession through Mira Road, adorned with flags of Bhagwan Ram and Bhagwan Hanuman on their vehicles and chanting the slogan “Jai Shri Ram,” the procession was abruptly interrupted by an attack from an Islamist mob. Witnesses reported that the attackers used sticks and rods, targeting the participants, damaging vehicles, and desecrating religious flags.

The local authorities were promptly notified, leading to the deployment of a substantial police force to restore law and order in the area. Calls for the apprehension of the culprits grew louder following the assault on the Hindu community. Shockingly, even women participating in the procession were not spared from the aggression.

In videos capturing the incident, scenes of flag-throwing, vehicle attacks, and verbal abuse directed at the procession participants were evident. The Hindu community asserted that their march was peaceful until the confrontation with the Islamist mob.

Police intervention swiftly quelled the situation, with several individuals reportedly detained. The law enforcement assured the public that the situation was under control. Mira Road, situated in a predominantly Muslim area, witnessed a subsequent flag march by the police, accompanied by an appeal for calm.

Jayant Bajbale, DCP says “At around 11 pm yesterday, some people of the Hindu community were raising slogans in 3-4 vehicles in the Naya Nagar area of Mira Road adjacent to Mumbai. After this, an argument started with some people belonging to the Muslim community. Seeing the…

Authorities downplayed the incident, characterising it as an “argument and petty fight” between two groups, emphasising that no major outbreak of violence occurred. Police officials urged the public to refrain from believing and spreading rumors on social media, emphasising the need for unity and peace in the community. The incident has raised concerns about communal tensions amidst the joyous celebrations surrounding the Pran Prathishtha ceremony.
