Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), in response to the comprehensive guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education for the regulation of coaching centres, demands strict action in implementing these guidelines. The current issues surrounding mental health, lack of basic facilities, unregulated fee structures, and various other concerns related to coaching centers have led to negative developments in the education sector. ABVP demands that central, state and UT governments and administrations address and resolve these issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

Recent incidents, such as the unfortunate suicides of students in Kota, Rajasthan, and other cities and a fire incident at a coaching centre in Delhi, highlight the urgent need for strict regulation of coaching centres. ABVP remains committed to ensuring the well-being and educational progress of students and calls upon the concerned authorities to act with urgency and responsibility in enforcing the regulations for coaching centres.

ABVP National General Secretary, Shri Yagywalkya Shukla, stated, “The guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education for the regulation of coaching institutions are warmly welcomed and extremely crucial. Numerous coaching centres operating without proper regulations and laws across the country have become a cause for concern for students, parents, and society at large. Effective implementation of these guidelines will pave the way for resolving issues associated with coaching centers. ABVP calls for the effective implementation of regulations governing coaching centres, involving deliberations considering the perspectives of all stakeholders leading to informed decisions.”
