As Bharat is preparing for the historic consecration ceremony of Sri Ram Lala in the holy city of Ayodhya, dignitaries across various streams have been invited to attend the grand ceremony on January 22.

Though, to the amazement of everyone, the Sri Ramjanambhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust (SRJTKT) has also extended an invitation to a few fortunate simple citizens who could not have imagined that they would get an invite in their wildest of dreams.

One such fortunate guest on the grand occasion would be Santoshi Durga, a resident of Naharpur village of Kanker in Chhattisgarh. Santoshi, who works as a sweeper in the health department, has been a companion of her father in around 700 cases of postmortem, a job primarily associated with the latter.

According to the reports, it was in 2004, when Santoshi had a pact with her father that she could assist him in the postmortem without consuming liquor, which was defined as mandatory for doing an autopsy of a body by his father.

Santoshi termed the invitation to the grand ceremony of Sri Ram Lala consecration as the outcome of some possible good Karmas of her previous birth.

“I have never thought of receiving such an invitation, even in my wildest of dreams. I must have done something good in my previous birth to get such a fortunate opportunity to see the Ram Lala,” said an elated and emotional Santoshi who looks after a family of six.

Now, after getting an invitation from the SRJTKT to attend the grand ceremony, Santoshi has been winning accolades from everyone, including the State’s Chief Minister, Vishnu Deo Sai.

Taking it to the X the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Office (CMO) informed us that CM Sai has extended his good wishes to Santoshi Durga.

Even Santoshi Durga would not have imagined that she would be rewarded for her dedication to work in such a way. She is one of those fortunate people who will witness the historic consecration ceremony of Sri Ram Lala, the CMO tweeted and appreciated her.

Ragpicker Bidula Bai also gets an invitation

In another such story, an 85-year-old lady, Bidula Bai from the holy town of Rajim in Gariyaband has also been reportedly invited to attend the grand gathering in Ayodhya. According to media reports, the lady who worked as a ragpicker has been personally approached by the workers of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) to attend the Pran Pratishta ceremony.

Bidula Bai had reportedly donated Rs 20 for the Ram temple in 2021. It’s been learned that Bai had donated half of her earned money on the day she was approached for the donation for the mega temple of Bhagwan Ram by VHP workers. Her devotion to Bhagwan Ram inspired the workers of VHP so much that they decided to approach the senior office bearers to extend an invitation to her for the consecration ceremony.

It is to be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be leading the vedic rituals to be performed on January 22 to install the murti of Sri Ram Lala in the sanctum sanctorum.
