In the aftermath of a fake media narrative after 2002 on the administration of the State of Gujarat, the people with their strong determination of family-unit entrepreneurship strength decided to back the Chief Minister’s economic vision.
Our Prime Minister as the Chief Minister back then began the long term strategic vision to establish the Gujarat model as the economic engine for Bharat. He began visiting important world leaders like PM Shinzo Abe and many others to form a comprehensive vision for the State. This included sponsorships as partner country status for the State. Japan played the front foot. The Chief Minister with his memories of visiting the US in 1993 zeroed in on planning a unique project called the GIFT City as the global economic and tech hub for the nation. The idea of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit culminated into reality. The anger of the people of the State as fellow Hindus from other States looking down upon them as less-secular due to the propaganda of the paid media onslaught, were mobilised towards a positive contribution for the State.
Modi-Nomics was Born out of that Fire!

In 2015, the summit recorded a historic moment with the presence of the then US President Barack Obama, reflecting the international significance the event had achieved.
Focus on Innovation and Technology (2017-2021)
In the subsequent editions, Vibrant Gujarat evolved to incorporate emerging trends in technology and innovation. The summits in 2017 and 2019 showcased Gujarat’s commitment to fostering a knowledge-based economy. Themes like Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence and renewable energy took centrestage, attracting startups and technology companies from around the world. The State’s proactive approach to embrace technological advancements reflected its vision for a future-ready and globally competitive Gujarat.
Silver Lining Even During Pandemic
The Vibrant Gujarat Summit in 2021 faced unique challenges due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. However, it adapted to the new normal by transitioning into a virtual format, maintaining its commitment to facilitating dialogues and collaborations. The summit continued to focus on sectors crucial for post-pandemic recovery, such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and digital technologies.
Looking ahead, Vibrant Gujarat is poised to play a crucial role in the State’s economic resurgence. The emphasis on sustainable development, innovation, and global partnerships positions Gujarat as a key player in Bharat’s journey towards becoming a $5 trillion economy.
Focus on a Global Role 2024 & Beyond
With our Arab brother, MBZ from the UAE coming along with a few other national leaders, the Summit is destined for taking a global role for establishing Bharat as the fulcrum of geo-economics. Tesla of Elon Musk is readying a massive project. The other investments in the Summit will bring a big shift in the deep pockets of the Western world bringing back Shakti to Asia after a period of 400 years. Do not be surprised if the majority of big companies eventually have a Bhartiya head of operations and majority top management being converted to Bharityas by 2030.
The Vibrant Gujarat Summit has transformed into a Modi-nomics theory for the rest of the States also aiming trillion dollars plus targets replicating the format in some or the other variations. From a regional initiative to attract investments, it has grown into a globally recognised platform driving economic growth, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable development.
