Minister in CPM-led Pinarayi Vijayan government received sacred Akshat, consecrated in Ayodhya Ram Mandir, from RSS pracharaks at his residence in Valakam, Kollam district. RSS Pranta Sahasamparka Pramukh CC Shelvan, Kollam Sahakaryavahak Jayaprakash, BJP Anchal Vice-President Santosh, and Seva Bharati Kottarakkara Unit President Prashanth visited Kerala Transport Minister KB Ganeshkumar and invited him to the Pranaprathishta ceremony that is scheduled to take place on January 22, 2024. The minister received the sacred Akshat from the RSS pracharaks. The RSS pracharaks had obtained a prior appointment to meet the minister.
The minister told the pracharaks that Ram Mandir would become the largest pilgrim centre in the entire world. He said people from the villages of the country will flow to Ayodhya even without any invitation to them. He is unable to attend the Pran Pratishta as time does not permit him due to urgent official jobs.
Ganesh is the leader of Kerala Congress (B), a constituent of LDF led by the CPM. CPM has been maintaining a policy to keep away from Pran Prathishta ceremony. Under normal circumstances, LDF constituents do not antagonise the CPM, according to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. They are always keen to keep him in good humour. Ganeshkumar was sworn in as a minister hardly two weeks before.
In Kerala, several important personalities have already received the Aksht when the Sangh-inspired social workers visited them. Matha Amritanandamayi Devi alias Amma, Dakshin Bharat’s nightingale KS Chitra and Padmasree PT Usha and prominent Malayalam film personalities Sreenivasan and Unni Mukundan are among the prominent people who have received the Akshat. Workers got an enthusiastic responses during the Grih Samparka Abhiyan.
