In wake of the back-to-back killings of security personnel within three days, in a strong message to the Left Wing Extremists in the state, Vijay Sharma, the newly appointed Deputy Chief Minister (Dy CM) of Chhattisgarh, said that the incumbent government will not have any talks with the Maoists (Naxals).

Reacting to the killings carried out by the extremists, Sharma said that the Dy CM Arun Sao is going to pay tribute to the martyred Jawan. We have also discussed the issue: “CM is very serious on the issue; we will soon take a decision. As far as my personal opinion is concerned, I believe that action should be taken against the extremists”

Earlier, the Dy CM, Arun Sao also reached the state hanger at Raipur and paid tribute to the fallen personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF), Akhilesh Rai. Interacting with the media after paying tributes to the Jawan, Sao said “A new government has been formed in Chhatiisgarh, and there are a lot of expectations that the people have from us, our government will work with all our might to fulfill those expectations.”
