In a shocking video that was widely shared on social media on November 4, showing eleven individuals from Hindu families, comprising both men and women, as well as children, embraced Islam at the Dargah-e-Aliya Bharchundi Shareef Dargah, situated in the Ghotki district of Sindh province, Pakistan. According to Jagrita News, Pir Mian Javed Ahmed recited the Qalma in the presence of the Hindus, facilitating their conversion to Islam.

The report indicated that certain members of the family had embraced Islam several years prior.

Pir Mian Javed Ahmed has been previously associated with the conversion of Hindus to Islam. Shortly before the conversion of the 11 Hindus, Javed Ahmed facilitated the conversion of a 25-year-old Hindu named Shankar, son of Chetan Das Bhil from Thakrato, to Islam.

In June 2023, Pooja Kumari, a married Hindu woman residing in Kala Bridge, Karachi, embraced Islam under the guidance of Javed Ahmed. It remains uncertain whether her conversion took place before or after her marriage.

In July 2023, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, shared a video depicting the conversion of three Hindu girls to Islam under the influence of Javed Ahmed. He stated, “Sometimes attacks on temples in Pakistan… and sometimes forced conversion and marriage of girls from minority communities! Three girls, Parmish, Roshni, and Chandni, aged 16 years and below, belonging to Hindu Lehlaram Panwar of Sadiqabad, District Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, were detained and coercively converted to Islam at the residence of Pir Mian Javed Ahmad Qadri in Deharki, 60 km away. The families of these girls have been reaching out to me consistently, seeking assistance. @MEAIndia, the Government of India should step forward to aid these minority families in Pakistan.”

Massive religious conversion is going on the Hindu minority country Pakistan, every other day a Hindu daughter is abducted, a woman is forcefully married to and innocents are lured and threatened to convert.

In a recent video shared on social media by local Hindu activists, a wailing mother with other family members organised a protest outside the press club in Sindh province, demanding her daughter to be returned, who was abducted in the month of October. She said, “No police, court or law helps us Hindus here, return my daughter back or burn me alive”.

In 1947, when Pakistan was established, approximately 22 percent of its population was Hindu. Over time, the Hindu population saw a rapid decline, and currently, Hindus make up only 2.14 percent of the population in Pakistan. Out of the 4.4 million Hindus residing in the country, around 4.1 million are in Sindh, while roughly 200,000 live in Punjab and less than 50,000 in Balochistan.

Disturbing reports of forced conversions of Hindus to Islam in Pakistan have surfaced. Additionally, there have been numerous instances where young Hindu girls were reportedly abducted and compelled to convert before being married to Muslim individuals.

Regrettably, even the courts in Pakistan have been accused of acting against the interests of Hindus. In October 2023, it was reported that a Pakistani court placed a Hindu girl named Reeta Meghwar in a shelter home after she managed to escape from her kidnappers. Despite her plea to be reunited with her family, the court declined her request.

During the same month, another distressing incident emerged, involving a woman named Miran Kolhi who was allegedly subjected to a heinous crime. She reported being gang-raped by Shafaq Bhargari and his associates, and further claimed to have been coerced into providing a false statement by a female police officer. This officer, identified as Momal Laghari, allegedly threatened the victim and pressured her to give a statement favoring the accused.
