Those who are associating it with the Gujarat model need to know that the Gujarat Police is a model in tackling drug-related issues. Gujarat Police apprehends drugs in sea while confronting bullets. So this is indeed the Gujarat model. Gujarat has also seized drugs from Kolkata. Gujarat Police has been successful in seizing drugs from Punjab’s jails. Gujarat Police has played a crucial role. Drugs are a bigger issue for everyone in society and every individual will have to fight it,” said Harsh Sanghavi, Minister of State for Home, Gujarat, in “Sabarmati Samvad” organised by ‘Panchajanya’ on October 10 in Ahmedabad.
