Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarkaryavah Dathathreya Hosabole was addressing Kottayam Revenue District Samkhikh of RSS in connection with the centenary celebrations of Vaikkom Satyagraha at Vaikkom Beach Grounds on October 6, 2023. He said that the Samkhikh on the banks of the Vaikkom backwaters is also a thanksgiving to K Kelappaji, TK Madhavan and Mannath Padmanabhan, the heroic leaders of Satyagraha.

Vir Savarkar built the Pateetapavana Temple in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, with the same goal and ideals. The message of the same sort of social harmony gave leading lighting to RSS. Swayamsevaks, through the classless interaction in shakhas, made this message their own life. It was the conclave held in Prayagraj, under the noble stewardship of Parama Poojaneeya Guruji Golwalkar, that asserted Hindus are not serfs.

The Udupi conclave of the spiritual acharyas, scholars and pundits declared that all Hindus are brothers. It is in this same spirit that Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohanji Bhagavath stated that we need the social harmony that enables all sections of the society, to access the public wells, crematoriums and ponds, without any sort of discrimination.

Sarkaryavah opined that Vaikkom Satyagraha turned a success due to the cohesive and effective actions of different sections of the society. Sangh works hard to make our motherland glorious by deploying the forces of good together. The pinnacle of the country’s glory can only be achieved through the organised force. Organised force can assure service and protection to the society. An organised Hindu society is essential for the magnificence of the entire world. Our country put forward the theme of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam for G-20. Bharat is an organised society hence we could provide Corona vaccine for the entire world.

RSS puts forward panchparivarthan (five changes), during its centenary, for bringing changes in the society. They are social harmony, kutumba prabodhanam for promoting peace in the family and culture, environment protection, swadeshi-oriented life and civic consciousness.

RSS Kshethra Sanghchalak Dr Vanniyarajan, Pranth Sanghchalak Advocate K.K. Balaram and Vibhag Sanghchalak P.P. Gopi were present. Vibhag Karyavah R. Sanoo welcomed the gathering. Several prominent personalities belonging to social, cultural and religious sectors were on the dais.

Swayamsevaks displayed vyayamyog (physical exercises) and yoga prior to Sarkaryavah’s boudhik (speech). Thousands of swayamsevaks in RSS ganavesh (uniform) from Kottayam Vibhag consisting of organisational districts of Vaikkom, Kottayam and Ponkunnam participated in the samghikh.
