Dr Anshu Joshi, Professor, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, while interacting with eminent author-researcher Dr Namrata Pathak, made strong remarks against fake secularism and love jihad run by a particular section across the nation. While talking about her much-read novel “JNU Mein Ek Ladki Rehti Thi”, Dr Joshi pointed out the hypocrisy in the name of Marxism and socialism at Jawaharlal Nehru University campus.
She revealed that the background and characters of her novel have been brought from the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University. The author made a significant comment using the environment of one of the leading educational institutions in the country. It is because of the thoughts of leftist students and teachers who have been languishing in JNU for a long time that the university has seen moral turpitude.
Dr Joshi’s appeal to the younger generation – “learn to judge what is wrong, what is right”. JNU is the ‘hub’ form of fake secularism and love jihadi. “There should be a discussion in society on fake secularism,” said Dr. Anshu Joshi. Calling upon the new generation of writers and authors to be responsible towards the society, Dr. Joshi advised them to write for the cause of the welfare of the society. Through literature, the new generation should participate in nation building – Dr Anshu Joshi appealed.
