Delhi: Saints protest and denounce those condemning Sanatan Dharma for their vested political interest 

Hundreds of saints and followers of Sanatan Dharma assembled at the Tamil Nadu Bhawan in Delhi and denounced all those who made comments against the Sanatan Dharma by burning the effigies. The protest was organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad against those who are mocking at Sanatan Dharma

Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Balakandan Giri Maharaj and Swami Raghavanand Maharaj, the founders and guides of the Delhi Saint Council, addressed the gathering of saints and Sanatan brothers. They stressed that all political leaders should refrain from speaking against any religion merely to fulfil their own vested interests.  Therefore, the sanyasis have asked the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin to apologise himself for Udayanidhi’s comments and called for legal action against those who make such offensive remarks. They further said that State governments and political parties should also expel individuals who use such derogatory language. The protest was organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Shri Dudheshwar Temple’s Peethadheeshwar, Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhada’s international spokesperson, and the National President of Delhi Saint Council, Mahant Narayan Giri Ji, questioned why the government was not taking any action on this matter. He further said that such individuals should be apprehended. The silence on the part of the government was creating a hostile environment. The protesting saints also questioned the Tamil Nadu government for adopting such a hostile attitude towards the  Sanatan society.

Mahant Narayan Giri Ji also mentioned that the Supreme Court had issued a notice against hate speeches made by anti-Sanatan activists. He said that using abusive language undermines democracy. Such language also goes against the religious rights enshrined in the constitution and fosters discord among communities. Mahant Narayan Giri said that he is hopeful that the Supreme Court will take strong action against these individuals.

Alok Kumar, International President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and a senior advocate, stated that in a democarcy, it is important to mainitain dignity while speaking on  any topic. Stalin, Priyanka Kharge, and D. Raja are not engaging in logical arguments; instead, they are using abusive language and are issuing threats. He said that they are not just opposing but also trying to eliminate Sanatan dharma. He said, “This is their arrogance and frustration. If the Sanatan society could not be suppressed by the atrocities of the Mughals or the cunning of the British, how can they succeed now? Sanatan will continue to promote brotherhood, love, and peace. The adversaries will be defeated.”

Mahamandaleshwar Naval Kishor Das led this protest. He mentioned that the presence of thousands of saints, brothers, and sisters from all over Delhi at the Tamil Nadu Bhavan demonstrates that those who oppose Sanatan are now counting their days. Sanatan considers every person in the world as a family member and maintains compassion for all. However, this does not mean that anyone can say anything, and followers of Sanatan Dharma will remain silent. This faith knows how to respond to all forms of conspiracies against it.

He also stated that the Saint Society will raise this issue in Tamil Nadu, meet the Governor, and request them to fulfill their constitutional responsibilities.
