CBSE’s trailblazing approach to skill-based learning

It is a known fact that a person who can turn their passion into a profession is fortunate. NCF 2023 comprises subjects like Space Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), etc. These possess a more interesting and vocational essence. The former is the need of the hour with the recent big space missions, i.e., Chandrayaan 3 and Aditya L-1, that have proven to showcase the high potential of India, and the Indian Government has made it certain that Indians unlock it.

The introduction of Space Privatisation by the Government of India has had a remarkable impact on the education sector. More importantly, the advent of entrepreneurship has broken all the barriers to learning and personal growth. Entrepreneurs collaborate with the government to innovate strategies that make our economy grow with new Space Technology and innovative spacecraft to explore space. Private ventures can enormously benefit from the revolution our government has planned to create. The niche that became the soul of new businesses such as AstroTourism, Astronomy, and Space Travel incorporates new avenues in India’s story.

By bringing astronomy and digitization together, Space Labs and Atal Tinkering Labs have been established in the schools. They cater to the requirement for resources, i.e., telescopes, charts, and many other pedagogical tools involving STEM Learning. Harnessing the strength of technology is CBSE’s objective. These labs provide a vivid and vibrant experience for the students that complements the curriculum. Sometimes even theory cannot teach what practical experience has to offer, and it helps students gain a comprehensive understanding of theories. Students are not treated as just consumers of information; they even produce it, which makes them prosumers.
