On September 18, former Pakistani Hindu cricketer Danish Kaneria slammed a pro-Congress troll after the latter mocked him for wishing Prime Minister of Bharat Narendra Modi on his birthday.

Danish Kaneria referred to PM Modi as the “guardian of Bharat” and said that he had proved that “India can lead the world”.

Danish Kaneria shared his greetings and wrote of ‘X’, “Birthday greetings to the guardian of Bharat, Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. PM Modi has proved that India can lead the world. Today, the entire world is talking about “वसुधैव कुटुंबकम्”। I pray to Lord Ram for his good health and success.”

Soon after, he was attacked by Congress trolls on social media. X user ‘Dr Nimo Yadav’ mocked Danish Kaneria for supposedly interfering in the personal matter of Bharat.

“Don’t interfere in our personal matter. @DanishKaneria61, we don’t want any Pakistani to say a single word about our beloved PM,” he tweeted.
Danish Kaneria in reply lambasted the troll for not understanding the ethos of Bharat and the Sanatan Dharma.

He emphasised that it is hard for ‘piddis’ and ‘pappu’ fans to comprehend his message.

“From Kabul to Kamrup, from Gilgit to Rameshwaram, we are one. But what can i do if Pidis will not understand,” Kaneria tweeted. He further added, “So, keep your advice at Pappu’s home”, Danish Kaneria wrote.

It is to be noted that, Danish Kaneria happens to be the only second Hindu cricketer to play for the Pakistan, had been unabashed about his religious identity.

Earlier, he expressed his wish to visit the majestic Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and seek blessings from Bhagwan Ram. In another tweet on September 17, he has lashed out on Pakistan team’s captain and think thank for their mismanagement of the fast bowlers.

Kaneria’s statement on X came a day after right-arm pacer Naseem Shah was deemed doubtful for the 2023 World Cup following a shoulder injury.

Naseem, a key member of Pakistan’s fast bowling unit, was forced to leave the field during the 46th over of India’s innings in the Asia Cup Super-4 game due to his shoulder injury.

Consequently, he was unable to participate in the subsequent match against Sri Lanka, with Zaman Khan taking his place. On September 16, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that they are seeking a second opinion regarding Naseem’s injury, but reports suggest that he will be unable to compete in the entire tournament held in India.

“Why Pakistan management and selectors didn’t know Sri Lanka is humid and hot out fast fast bowlers needs rest and fresh to go hard in tournament bloody dum Captain and selection that’s y we rout of finals idiots treat our gem like precious,” Danish Kaneria wrote.
