In a video DMK leader A Raja is seen speaking on a virtual panel, wherein in Tamil he said, “India is responsible for the global disease called caste. India divides people on the basis of caste. Using the caste, people are divided economically. Caste is not only used to create social instability, but also economic imparity is also caused by it. Indians living abroad also spread caste in the name of Hinduism. Not only for India, but Hindu religion is danger to entire world.”

Last week, 2G scam accused A Raja compared Sanatana Dharma to deadly HIV AIDS and leprosy. Last Sunday DMK Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin likening Sanatana Dharma to Dengue, Malaria, and Corona and calling for its eradication at the “Eradicate Sanatana Conclave” held at Chennai.

Addressing a protest meeting organized by the anti-Hindu outfit Dravidar Kazhagam against the Centre’s Viswakarma Scheme in Chennai, A Raja said “I am oddly surprised that Udhayanidhi Stalin had only spoken about it softly saying (Sanatana Dharma) has to be eradicated like malaria and dengue. Malaria and dengue don’t have social stigma. There is neither a sense of disgust associated with malaria and dengue nor were they considered a social disgrace. What is looked upon with disgust was leprosy in the past and HIV in recent times. As far as we are concerned, it (Sanatana Dharma) should be looked upon as a disease which is a social disgrace like HIV and leprosy. we’ve to see it (Sanathana Dharma) as a social stigma.“

Reacting to his venomous anti Hinduism hate speech, Annamalai lashed out the DMK saying the party was solely responsible for creating caste divide and hatred in the state . Sharing the video on X, he said “DMK MP A Raja calls Hindu Religion a menace to India & the world. DMK is the principal reason for creating caste divide & hatred in TN, and the DMK MP has the audacity to blame Sanatana Dharma for the mess they made”.

Defiant DMK sports minister Udhayanidhi Stalin had recently asserted that he is not bothered about the DMK government falling and will continue to oppose Sanatana Dharma.

The continuous nonstop rhetoric targeting Hindu religion and sana tana dharma by Chief Minister MK Stalin, DMK second rung leaders and ministers adds fuel to the already raging political fire in Bharat creating divisions in the fledgling I.N.D.I. Alliance conglomerate members. “Such fireworks against Hinduism and Sana tana dharma may impact the success of the alliance in northern states where people are pious Hindus” says political pundits.
