The Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre witnessed a significant commemorative event on August 25, 2023, as the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, unveiled a commemorative postage stamp to honour the legacy of Dadi Prakashmani. This notable initiative, undertaken by the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, falls under the umbrella of the ‘My Stamp’ campaign. The occasion held profound significance, as it marked the 16th anniversary of Dadi Prakashmani’s passing.
In her address, the President extolled the enduring impact of Dadi Prakashmani, attributing her with the propagation of Indian values and culture both domestically and internationally, primarily through her spiritual endeavours. Serving as the helm of the Brahma Kumaris, she steered the organisation into becoming the world’s largest women-led spiritual movement.
