Rahul Gandhi is emroiled in another controversy after he gave a “flying kiss” in the parliament, mainly directed at Smriti Irani. Women MPs of the NDA have raised objection to it and have urged the speaker Om Birla to take stringent action

Union Minister and BJP MP Smriti Irani lashed at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his indecent gesture. Rahul Gandhi, before leaving the parliament, blew a flying kiss. Lashing at Rahul Gandhi, Irani stated, “I object to something. The one who was given the chance to speak before me displayed indecency before leaving. It is only a misogynistic man who can give a flying kiss to a Parliament which seats female members of Parliament. Such undignified conduct was never before seen in the Parliament of the country…”.

NDA women MPs wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla demanding strict action against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi alleging him of making inappropriate gestures towards BJP MP Smriti Irani and displaying indecent behaviour in the House.

Union Minister & BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje came  down heavily on Rahul Gandhi over his indecent gesture. While speaking to the mediapersons, she said, “This is the first time we have seen such behaviour from an MP in the House. He made a gesture of a flying kiss at women MPs in the House….It is unacceptable. We have complained to the Speaker to take action against him.”

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad says, “He gives a flying kiss. What has happened to Rahul Gandhi? So many women are seated there (in the House). He has no manners. It is very painful…”

Earlier, Irani had hit back at Rahul Gandhi over his remarks in the Lok Sabha on various issues such as the Manipur violence. She had said that Rahul Gandhi and the opposition is not I.N.D.I.A since he defines corruption and dynastic politics.
