In an alleged case of personal enmity, 19-year-old Hrithik was stabbed to death by three Islamist boys Shahrukh, Shoaib and Masoom. It has been reported that Hrithik used to reside in servants quarters in New Friends Colony and apparently in the past he had some tiff with Sharukh’s brother.
It was on August 6 that Hrithik along with his friends Sonu (18) and Prashant (19), was apparently travelling towards C V Raman Marg from Khizrabad on a motorcycle when an unidentified man confronted him and asked him as to why he had beaten Shahrukh’s brother.
Soon Shahrkh, Shohaib and Masoom arrived at the scene, armed with sticks and knives. They brutally beat the three Hindu boys and severely attacked Hrithik with a knife. According to DCP (southeast) Rajesh Deo, Hrithik received multiple injuries on his abdomen and on the kneck. Soon he was taken to a local hospital after which he was referred to AIIMS trauma centre where he was declared dead. His friends were discharged after preliminary treatment. Meanwhile, various reports in the media claim that even criminal cases, including one registered under the Arms Act in March.
The police have arrested all the three accused.
