Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nishikant Dubey came down heavily at the Congress party  and exposed them thread bare when he told the august house that a report in the New York Times report stated, “Between 2005 and 2014, whenever there was a crisis, the Congress had received money from China. In 2008, they had invited both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. In 2016, they were talking to the Chinese during the Doklam crisis.”

Dubey was in no mood to go soft on the Congress party and its leaders as well as some of the journalists who were actively engaged in anti-India activities. Dubey stated that Digvijaya Singh and Randeep Surjewala were involved in this sinister plan. The New York Times has mentioned in its report how money was given to Maoists and journalists such as Rohini Singh, Swati Chaturvedi.

He also exposed the Gandhi family’s relationship with China, how they used to get funds from China during 2005-14.

Speaking on the big expose of Newsclick, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar stated, “…These narratives that are put out by platforms like NewsClick and other platforms that are operating in concert are echoed almost blandly in a similar fashion by this political leader, Rahul Gandhi, who goes abroad and says exactly the same things-democracy is under danger, judiciary is compromised, EVMs are compromised. This is exactly the narrative that these platforms put out… This is a complex conspiracy. This is a network of operators being funded, being fanned by vested interests outside the country, who are opposed to India’s rise…”

Propagandist Abhisar Sarma and his Chinese links

In a big turn of events, New York Times has openly exposed Abhisar Sharma and his so-called news portal for having close connections with China and promoting its sinister model.

Congress party comes out in defence

Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has written a letter to LS Speaker Om Birla regarding BJP MP Nishikant Dubey’s comments in Lok Sabha today.

“We demand under Rule 380 that his remarks be expunged in full and that an inquiry be conducted into how such an allegation was permitted to be raised on the record, writes Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur, while addressing the media stated that “Way back in the year 2021, when India’s law enforcement agencies initiated an inquiry against NewsClick based on strong evidence of money laundering, the Congress and the entire Left-Liberal ecosystem came to defend it.

Even newspapers like ‘The New York Times’ are now admitting that Neville Roy Singham and his NewsClick are dangerous tools of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and promoting China’s political agenda across the world.

Also, the Editors Guild of India in the past had equated the IT survey at the office of NewsClick as  critical reportage by the Modi government and had said that such an action would undermine Constitutional democracy.

Wake Up call for India’s media landscape

The recent report of New York Times serves as a wake up call for India’s media landscape as there are journalists who are part of the sold media gang and propagate anti-India news. Ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls 2024, stringent action  should be taken to combat such journalists and media houses who are allegedly indulging in anti-India activities
