Know all about Jain Muni Murder

It was on July 5 that Jain Muni went missing from his ashram in a village in Belagavi’s Chikodi taluk and on July 8th, the police confirmed that he was allegedly murdered. His devotees had filed a missing complaint on July 6th, 2023.

For the past fifteen years, Acharya Sri Kamakumara Nandi Maharaj was staying at Nandi Parvata Jain Basadi. The police, during the interrogation, found that the suspects had made contradictory statements. It is then the needle of suspicion fell on them and they were taken into custody. During the interrogation they confessed about commiting the crime.

A police officer had reported that the main cause for the murder was the dispute related to money. Apparently, the accused had borrowed money from Jain muni and had refused to return it to him. Apparently, pressure was mounted by Jain muni to return the money and it is in retaliation that they killed him.

The Jain muni, born on June 6, 1967 in Karnataka, was previously known as Bhramappa during his childhood. He was initiated into monkhood by Acharya Shri 108 Kunthu Sagar Ji Maharaj.
