Injured personnel being taken to Jagadalapur

Earlier in a similar kind of incident an assistant commandant of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) was also martyred in an IED explosion near Tekari village of Bijapur on March 27.

The incident occured when a team of CAF was out on an area domination exercise to ensure security for the road construction work near Tokari, though while searching one of the Jawan identified as Vijay Yadav inadvertently stepped over a pressure IED, triggering the blast in which he got martyred.

Maoist killed villager in Narayanpur

In yet another incident of targeted killing of civilians in the state, armed cadres of the PLGA, armed wing of the banned CPI-Maoist have brutally killed a villager in Jhara village of Narayanpur in Chhattisgarh.

The incident occurred when around 3-4 cadres of the outlawed CPI-Maoist kidnapped Ramji Didi along with his nephew and brother from the outskirts of the Jhara village on late March 28 night and took them to the nearby forest where another two dozen cadres of the outlawed outfit were camping.

It’s been reported that the Dodu was beaten black and blue by Maoists who later strangled him to death, the ultras then handed over the body to the nephew of Dodu along with a few pamphlets in which they have alleged Dodu for being a police informer.

It is to be noted that in another incident armed cadres of the outlawed CPI – Maoist have barged into the house of one Raju Madkam of Andherpara village under Bhejji police station of insurgency-hit Sukma on March 28 night and forcibly took him with them.

It’s been reported that the Maoist took Madkam to the nearby forest where they brutally hacked him to death after a brief interrogation, Konta Area Committee of the banned CPI-Maoist has claimed the responsibility of the murder.

It is to be noted that the Maoists have been continuously targeting innocent villagers in the Maoist affected regions of the State as more than a dozen of civilians of Chhattisgarh and nearby Maoist affected regions have been brutally killed by the ultras so far in the last three months alone.

Earlier on 17th of this month cadres of the CPI-Maoist had also barged into the house of a 38 year old Narayan Nagesh in Lakshmanpur village of Raigarh in Nabarangpur District adjoining Chhattisgarh and killed him on pretext of being a wood Mafia.
