Jamui, Bihar: On March 19, Bihar Police arrested Mohammed Akram, dubbed the ‘serial kisser’ accused of forcibly kissing women on Bihar’s streets. Reportedly, Mohammed Akram is the gang leader involved in molesting women and theft cases. He was arrested along with his four accomplices in a police raid conducted on Saturday evening based on intelligence received.

Reportedly, the accused and his gang target women walking alone. The gang follows the women walking alone on the streets and forcibly kisses them. On March 13, a video of the accused forcibly kissing a woman in Bihar’s Jamui district went viral on social media and prompted the police to conduct a search operation for the accused.

The victim in the viral video was identified as a Class IV health worker working at the Sadar Hospital in Bihar’s Jamui district since 2015. The incident took place in broad daylight on March 10. The New Indian (@TheNewIndian_in) tweeted the accused’s video of molesting the victim and said, “Caught in CCTV| Bihar: Serial kisser roaming in Jamui, comes from behind and runs away after kissing.”

The victim told the media, “What have I done to him? When he preyed on me, I resisted and called the hospital staff. But, the man had escaped by then…The boundary wall is extremely small. I have requested the authorities to put up a barbed fence and protect the women who frequent the hospital.”

The police set up a special team after receiving several complaints from the victims. As a result, the police located and raided the gang’s hideout after conducting a thorough investigation. The police’s raid on the hideout led to gang leader Mohammed Akram’s arrest along with his accomplices. Furthermore, the police recovered several stolen items from their hideout.

On Mohammed Akram’s arrest, Twitter user Mr Sinha (@MrSinha_) said, “Akram Khan who’s arrested for forcefully kissing & harassing women on street used to wear Kalawa so that the blame goes on Hindus. Kasab model is being used widely by these Islamists,” with the accused’s image wearing the sacred Hindu thread, kalawa.

The Twitter user refers to the Kasab model when the Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba’s operative Ajmal Kasab wore a kalawa during the 26/11 Mumbai attack and carried fake identification under the name of ‘Samir Chaudhary.’

It was revealed that Kasab was supposed to die in the 26/11 Mumbai attack wearing the kalawa to give the impression that he was a Hindu.

Another Twitter user Atul (@SaffronAtul), said, “Uses fake religious identity and do love Jihad by Hindu names. Serial kisser Mohammad Akram wear kalawa and molest several women on streets arrested Cult is highly obsessed with kasab model and doing all kind of Hate crimes by using Hindu Identity.”
