Pakistan: On February 22, a Pakistani man named Haji Saeed killed his son 24-year-old Muhammed Sohail for not offering Namaz despite his warning. The incident took place in the Gulistan-e-Johar area in Karachi, Pakistan.
According to Pakistani media reports, the accused killed his son with a hammer and knife when he returned home from prayers and found his son sleeping. The accused claimed he had warned his sons about offering prayers on time. The accused was frustrated when he saw his son sleep instead of offering prayer, he lost control and attacked him with a hammer without warning.
When notified about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and apprehended the accused. The Shahrah-e-Faisal police station has registered a case against the accused for murder. The victim’s body has been sent to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center for a post-mortem examination.
